Downloading and Installing the Executor

There are a number of great Android executors available for free. In this guide, I will be using Vega X, as it is my personal favorite and the one I'm most familiar with.

These instructions generally apply to all Android executors, so feel free to use whichever one you prefer.

Danger

Never download executors from unknown sources. The majority of results you'll find by simply searching for free executors will be malicious. While the executor itself cannot access your PC as long as you run it in an emulator, it can still compromise your Roblox account or cause other inconveniences.

Step 1: Download Vega X

The only official website for the Vega X executor is vegax.gg. However, you might experience problems downloading it from the website as it requires you to go through a link shortener with ads (similar to Linkvertise). I would instead recommend you download it directly through GitHub, using the link below. This download is fully safe and up to date, as it is uploaded by the owner of Vega X.

You can always download the latest version of Vega X through this link: https://github.com/1f0yt/community/releases/download/Vegax/Vega.X.apk

Clicking this link should start a download of the Vega X APK file. Wait until it completes before you proceed to the next step.

Downloading Vega X through the website [NOT RECOMMENDED]

If you, for whatever reason, do not wish to use the direct download link provided above, you can download Vega X from the website.

Go to vegax.gg and click "Download Vega X", as shown in the image below.

Click the "Download Vega X" button

Make sure you click "Download Vega X", and not "Download For Windows".

If the download button redirects you to Lootdest or Linkvertise, complete the ad challenge without downloading anything. If a download is required to pass the challenge, simply click the download button and cancel the download immediately; you might then have to wait about a minute to proceed. Once you're done, follow the link that shows up. The Vega X APK file should start downloading.

Important: Make sure that the file you download has the .apk extension. If it has an .exe, .zip, or any other file extension, it is not the correct file.

Step 2: Launch your emulator

If you haven't installed an Android emulator yet, click here for a guide on how to do so.

Warning

For optimal performance, enable virtualization in your BIOS if available. Learn how to enable virtualization in Windows

Next, open your emulator and go to the home screen. Click the tab labeled with your emulator's name below for step-by-step instructions on how to do this.

Step 1: Open the "LDPlayer 9" app, as shown in the image below. Open the "LDPlayer9" app

Info

If you encounter the following warning, click "Restart PC" or switch to BlueStacks to avoid reduced performance.

A prompt reading: "Virtual machine service is enabled which may lower performance by 50%, please restart your PC to fix it."

Step 2: Wait for the emulator to finish loading. If the loading bar gets stuck, try closing out of other running applications or restarting your computer before opening LD Player again.

Step 3: Get to the emulator's home screen by closing out of all apps. You can do this by clicking the X button next to the app's name.

Step 4: If you are on a screen that looks similar to the image below, you may proceed to the next step.

Step 1: Open the "BlueStacks 5" app, as shown in the image below.

Open the "BlueStacks 5" app

Step 2: Once loaded, get to the emulator's home screen by closing all open apps. Click the recent apps button in the upper left corner, then select "Clear all".

An icon illustarting multiple stacked tabs is highlighted. It is located in the upper-left corner, to the right of the back and home buttons. An arrow pointing to the "clear all" button

Step 3: You should now be on the home screen. Proceed to the next step.

What to do if BlueStacks fails to open
  • Close out of all other running applications before opening BlueStacks again.
  • Close BlueStacks and attempt the process again — it might take several tries to get it to work.
  • Restart your PC.
  • Change your graphics renderer. You can do this by following the following steps.

    1. Open the "BlueStacks Multi-Instance Manager" app.

An icon illustarting two squares overlapping is highlighted. It is located in the lower-left corner, under the App Player button.

    2. From there, click the settings icon to the right of the start button.

An arrow pointing to a cog wheel icon to the right of the blue start button

    3. Navigate to Graphics -> Graphics renderer and change your graphics renderer to the option that is not currently selected.

The "graphics renderer" setting is highlighted

    4. Click "Save changes" and open the emulator.

Step 1: Open the "MuMu Player 12" app, as shown in the image below.

Open the "MuMu Player 12" app

Step 2: Wait for the emulator to finish loading. If the loading bar gets stuck, try closing out of other running applications or restarting your computer before opening MuMu Player again.

Step 3: After the emulator finishes loading, you should end up on the home screen. Proceed to the next step.

Step 3: Install Vega X

To install an APK file, simply drag and drop it into the emulator's home screen and wait for it to install.

Once installation is complete, you'll see a Roblox app on the home screen. Note that this is not the standard Roblox app but a special version that includes the executor.

What to do if the APK file fails to install
  • If you already have a Roblox app installed on the emulator, delete it before you attempt installing the APK file. You can delete an app by long-clicking it (or right-clicking in some emulators) and selecting the "Uninstall" option.
  • Reset the emulator to a clean state.
  • Redownload the APK file from the link provided above.
  • Use a different emulator.

Setting Up the Executor

Once you've installed the executor on your emulator, you're ready to begin the setup process.

Step 1: Open the executor

Click the newly installed Roblox app to open it.

Step 2: Grant file access

When prompted, click "Allow" to give the executor access to files. This permission is required for the executor to work correctly. Keep in mind that it will only have access to files within your emulator — not your actual PC.

A prompt asking for file access is visible. The rightmost "Allow" option is highlighted.

Step 3: Sign in

Sign in with a throwaway account or create a new one.

Although the chances of you getting a platform-wide ban for exploiting on an emulator are practically non-existent as of now, I would still strongly advise you to always exploit on a throwaway account.

This is for two main reasons:

  • Individual Roblox games may have their own custom anti-cheat systems that can permanently ban your account from their games.

  • Roblox may implement their anti-cheat (Hyperion) to mobile at any point in the future. If they detect you're exploiting, they could terminate your account.

Updating the Executor

You'll need to update the executor occasionally. When an update is required, you'll see this prompt upon opening the Roblox app:

"Update required" prompt

To update, return to Step 1: Download Vega X and download the APK file again. Then simply drag and drop the new APK file into your emulator's home screen. There's no need to delete the current Roblox app when updating, and your account will remain logged in after the update.

That concludes this part of the guide. In the next part, you'll learn how to use the executor.
